Back from Machine Learning Summer School

In January I was fortunate to take part in MLSS 2023 in Cape Town. Indeed it was inspiring to meet and interact with incredible researchers and industrial people alike. Among my favourite lectures I can recommend Ferenc Huszar’s lectures on Deep Learning generalization theory as well as Nicu Sebe’s lectures on Deep Generative Models. One of the highlights when not being in class was the hiking of Table Mountain with a few of my Danish colleagues - An incredible experience.
